Now, do you know how to get winamp to work behind a school's proxy system? For the record, I already know the port and the name of the proxy, I just can't figure out how to configure it.

I can't believe you got this under 4000 characters. Very nicely done. You should put this on a web page somewhere where it is accessible to more people.

Some one should demo this for main menu.

this is very ool. i think i'll try it and see how it works out for me. now i can listen to music in school and no one will know since the window will not be shone on screen! cool! of course, do you know how to use all of those keys on a laptop? i guess i could change windows key numb pad pluss to windows key shift 9 or something, or windows control shift equals, or someting like that. that would be cool to lsten to music all day and not be caught. i've got lots of tunes on here to listen to. lol. just have to put the volume down low enough, and voila! it works! I'll try this as soon as possible. also, did you ever think about streamming? now that would be cool! using i e and streamming with the sam encoders or whatever while having winamp not even visible on screen! woot! well, this is too long, so I'll type to you later, but think about what you could do to make it so that laptop users could use the same keyboard commands with out the numb pad. lol.

Again, as I've stated, The keystrokes I've provided are just the ones I've elected to use. You can set them up to any key combination you desire, alt+shift+s for shuffle, alt+shift+r for repeat, etc. It's a personal choice affair. Those keys which I've listed are what make sense to me, and to me they form a fluent pattern, so that I rarely even have to think about which key does what. (The pluss key on the numpad adds files, folders and URL's, the minus key stops, the 2 and 8 modify volume, etc). Customize the directions as you like, filling in your own desired hotkey pattern.
